If you are interested in trying caving there are two approaches: through a reputable outdoors centre/caving guide service or through one of the caving clubs.  Contacts to these are available on the Links page here.

Many of the Irish caving clubs are happy to introduce beginners to the sport: you may even want to join after!

A calender of meets suitable for beginners is listed below.  Curious?  Why not contact them and come along!  The clubs will usually loan you some basic caving equpment initially e.g. helmet, light etc.

The clubs can be contacted via their websites; give it a go!  A Facebook group on try caving also exists here with a calendar of events: a great place to ask questions and get started!
