In certain cases SUI has a facility to recognize the prior experience and learning of experienced cavers and members of the SUI. This is to allow applicants to the training courses (BCL, CL) to be exempted from course pre- requisites so as to facilitate them in taking the training or assessment.
The SUI also offers this process in order to recognise qualifications gained through another caving association(e.g. BCA etc.) or national governing body for the purposes of placing these individuals straight on to the appropriate level in the SUI training framework
This facility is open to SUI members only: the application form is available online in the members only section
