Guidebooks

A more recent guide to the caves of county Kerry has been produced by SUI and is available on-line to SUI members on the SUI Library. This is based on a review of sites published in Irish Speleology 15.

The most up to date guide to the caves of Kerry is contained within the UBSS publication “Caves of Southern Ireland” available to purchase here. Publication of this work was supported by the SUI.

Accomodation

Cork and Kerry are still not all that regularly visited by cavers so there are no established centres, pubs or accommodation frequented by cavers. However, accommodation is widely available in this tourist area. Information from Failte Ireland.
