Cave Instructor Certificate (CIC) Training

SUI members interested in obtaining CIC training should please contact suichairperson@gmail.com before the end of September. The SUI’s five year plan which contains a commitment to increase the number of CIC holders (which is the highest recognised caving qualification in Ireland and the UK) within the membership.  CIC training expands on the SUI’s CL qualification but perhaps most significantly involves many higher SRT skills as well as training people in SRT use.  Potential candidates must hold a valid CL qualification as a minimum. Training places will be partially subsidised by the SUI.  For further information on CIC go here
