Caving Fundamentals Course 2013

The SUI is pleased to announce it is running a Caving Fundamentals (CF) course over the weekend of  23-24th November. Venue: Burren Outdoor Education Centre, Bellharbour, Co Clare.   CF is a two day residential course designed to provide a strong introduction to the sport of caving through a series of lectures, equipment demonstrations, skills development and of course, caving trips.   Costs are kept deliberately low to allow people to attend and a concessionary rate is available for students. Try Caving Calendar Updated

Want to try caving?  Don’t know how to go about it?  One way is to hook up with one of the Irish caving clubs.  There are a number of caving weekends going on over the coming few months.  The Try Caving Calendar has been updated so have a look here and contact the club involved if you are interested.  Even better the SUI is organising a Try Caving event at its annual conference, SUICRO, so contact us to have a go there and enjoy the talks in the evening!
